I don't post much but had to show someone these leaves.... I have seen odd leaves show up on my hoyas before ,usually plain carnosa looking leaves on carnosa cultivars. But these are just odd. They are much larger than any of the other leaves on this plant and well... I'm sure you can see the other differences.
Is there a hoya out there that has this type of leaf ??
Reversion, mutation ??
Wow...maybe you have a new mutation going on there. Let them grow a bit longer & then take a cutting and root it. See if they hold true to form. Looks like it is comming from a H. compacta (Hindu Rope hoya). Is that right? In fact...it looks like the variety Carol was looking for with the cream in the center of the leaf.

Wow...I certainly can't answer your questions, but will be interested in watching the 'progress' of you plant from here.....those leaves are funky-cool!
It looks as though two leaves have fused together!
It's not coming from a hindu rope but there are a couple of those in the same pot, holliana also resides in that pot. I think it is the one I bought as 'Sherry' years ago, but I can't find much reference to 'Sherry' now.
Maybe this picture shows the 'parent' plant better ?

Wow...how VERY cool!!! My wild guess (being the least qualified to do so) is that because H. carnosa cv. Sherri or Sherry (like Holliana) was a 'mutant', the mutation is not all that stable and the plant is putting out all kinds of 'variations' on the 'same theme'. I have seen 'Holliana' do something similar - every once in a while putting out a large leaf etc. Your plant is trying to grow but the genetics are all shortcircuited, sort of, and nothing is coming out like the one before. It has to be fascinating seeing all the different leaf forms emerging!!! Yes...keep us up on what is going on ... !!!
