Kale recipes

Thunder Bay Ontario, ON(Zone 3a)

The garden has produced just a massive amount of Kale this season. I have only ever seen it go to the deer .. but .. for some reason (prolly the scarecrow) they have left it alone.
I did pick a bunch and followed a rcipe for Sesame Kale. In essence .. you cook some minced garlic in sesame oil .. add the Kale and a teeny bit of water and cook it for a minute .. stir it .. cover for 2 minutes .. add some soya sauce and toasted sesame seeds and stir and serve. Lets just say the 'jury is out' on that recipe. I seem to find that perhaps Kale needs to be cooked longer ?
Has anyone had any success with this weird and wonderful plant ?

Thanks

Marilynne :-)
