I am also wondering what colors you have? Thanks

It is blue and blooms in the fall. Lou

I think I have this one, so I'll pass.

BUT I highly recommend this plant. It is gorgeous and blooms at a time when I am desperate for color.

[FYI, The photo is mine. I just copied it from a thread on aconitum on the perennials forum.]

Lou-
Just had mine IDed as aconitum japonicum var. hakonense.

Please look at the leaves in the attached photo. If you think yours is another variety, I would love to trade for some.

Note, there is a great thread for IDing aconitum in the perennial forum.

I have a few varieties of adenophora; echinacea (more pink than purple); nepetas; aquilegia;

Also have: stokesia_purpleparasols; digitalis mertenensis (more pink than purple)

and knautia_macedonica; centranthus ruber; clematis ruutel

Hi Lou

If you want your Aconitums IDed go to the perennial forum and you will find my thread 'Aconitums' and post two photos, the flower and the leaf and give a description.

Thanks ROX for spreading the word

Rox - Mine looks identical to yours. Thanks for the ID. Lou

Would love to trade, but I have mostly seeds rather than plants. Just moved here, so my perennials are "brand new". Have seeds for purple coneflower, Big Sky Sundown coneflower (various shades of red), and some purple foxglove. If you're interested, be glad to send seeds.
