A PSA

On the banks of the , VA(Zone 7a)

I just discovered the weird pink flowers that volunteered in the lawn of my new house are poisonous. My mother, thinking they were pretty, had cut some and taken them into the house and it motivated me to find out what they were, so hart (a member here) was actually able to tell me what they were based on my really BAD description, not even a picture. Kudos to hart!

Anyway, just a reminder (although I am sure you guys are all so light years ahead of me in plant wisdom you don't really need a reminder) to be careful about your furry family and pets. My sister's new kitty was extremely interested in chewing on them and I put them on top of the refridgerator until I could find out what they were...so we were lucky this time.

They are weird looking plants, anyway, I think. Magic lillies. Lilys? Lillys?

I need more coffee.
