Prayers and good thoughts needed for Bandit my granddog

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Bandit is having a problem. She has pancreatitis and is in severe pain. She is 12 years old and is a sweet little Jack Russell mix. Two years ago she had glaucoma and had to have both her eyes removed and they were replaced with artificial glass ones. Glaucoma is also a painful disease. She has definitely had her share.

Because she is blind now she is very scared when she leaves she known environment (her house) and is terrified of the vet. She becomes depressed just by being left for an hour to do the blood work. Apparently as we have found out pancreatitis is not curable and is extremely painful. She shakes and cries when the pain becomes intense. She is on pain killers, of course, and an antibiotic and also on Denosyl which is liver medication. It is possible for the attack to pass if it doesn't become the fatal kind which supposedly will be over in a short but painful time. :(

She needs to be on pretty much a fat free diet so nothing will aggravate the pancrease. My daughter is distraught since this is her baby. She has gone through so much with treating the glaucoma and treating her other animals. She recently lost her 22 year old kitty after treating him for years. That was devastating too. Her husband is from London and is at the moment over there visiting his parents who he hasn't seen for two years.

Back to Bandit, she has to picked up and taken outside to pee, because she is scared now to go down the back steps or else it hurts possibly. But she screams when you pick her up cause that hurts too.

I would like to ask all my friends on here to say some prayers and think healing thoughts for her. She is a sweet little loving dog that has never been a bit of trouble. Also for my daughter that she can have the strength to make the right decision when the time comes.

This picture is of her not too long after she got her new 'eyes'.
