What a Gem

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Greetings to all.....

Hoping everyone is having a great weekend!

Still so hot and muggy here but spent needed time working indoors and taking a few photos. Couldn't be more pleased with Streptocarpus 'Bristol's Petticoats'.........

Hi Snowrose!

Oh what a pretty one she is too! Love the intense colors.

TFS!

Thanks, Joanne!

I really do like this one very much and is well worth growing. The white edge varies and can be a little wider on some blossoms.

Had some fun on Friday and found some noid streps in 4 1/2" pots at Lowes on a clearance table for .50 a piece. They were nice sized healthy looking plants still in bloom but a little past their prime. Needed some grooming to remove spent blossoms, leaf trimming and a good drink of water. Bought 3 for a whopping $1.50 - I was delighted to say the least.

Morning Snowrose!

Wow! Lucky you...what a find! I have never seen any here in our small community.

The noids were nothing fancy but still very pretty and will provide way more than their money's worth. Got two different pinks and one white. After they get back to full bloom, may give as a gift to someone I know who is afraid to try growing them. I will tell her to practice on these ;0)
