We watched these for the longest, at first I thought I just couldn't see it.........but no, the one in the center picture actually had no tail feathers

jackie, it's a wonder it could fly. how odd. you'd think that would throw it off balance or something. I had one today that looked like woody woodpecker. the feathers on the top of it's head stuck straight up. thought that was strange until I saw this.
