okay everyone....I am at one of the first stages of addiction... where when I come home from work the first thing I do is go to the side of the house where my two brugs are and check on them. I dont even go in and put my purse up. I posted in the last two days about the leaves on one of them turning brown at the edges, which it still is doing. But I also posted before that that I had a Y. Well now I have BUDS!!!!! I am doing the happy dance, but with reservations because when I got on here to do this post the very first thing I saw was a post about buds dropping. The replies on there where from others whose buds are dropping. I so want mine to bloom so I can maybe even find out what I have. the nursery just said pink. Also I want to see what everyone is talking about regarding the smell.
I am also wondering about if you have to wait 3 weeks between messenger sprayings.
And I asked on another thread about epsom salts, but I didn't get an answer yet. I got some yesterday and I am wondering if I should use it on the brug with the leaf problem. Someone had said that it might be burn from too much fertilizer. It is possible that I did use too much and also I may have used some of that Bayer 3 in one that I now have read bad stuff about. I had some and now it is gone so I am not sure what I used it on. Anyway at this point would the epsom salts be a good idea or bad? Would another spraying of Messenger help or not?
And another question. How long does it take for the buds to go from little bitty to open?
Am I a hopeless case or what? LOL

LOL! Been there!! Just wait till you start ripping out all you other plants to make room for new Brugs... then you rip those Brugs out cause now you have better ones. I used to think these people were nuts but now I understand. LOL!! What a fun ride. Im not even a full year in to my brug addiction LOL!! What comes next? We can't afford another mortgage.

The weekends are always slower here. We get out more so we're not home as much to get on line. :-)
I know your feelings well too Yardqueen.. Everyone around here thought I totally lost it last winter when I was just starting.. LOL I had not only magnifying eyeglasses, but a hand held one to boot! Looking for Y's, buds, bugs, sprouts, you name it.. Not a leaf unturned. Enjoy every moment.. it is so fun. Wait till you get your first bloom!! There's nothing like it.. The scent is entoxicating....
As for your questions, I'm really not qualified to answer about the epsom salts, etc.
I can tell you that my experience with buds right now is not to get too excited till they are at least 3" long, cause this heat is causing a lot of them to fall off. Although the sheer joy of seeing a fuzzy lil tiny bud in the morning is equal to none in my book... Okay, other than smelling a bloom that is.. LOL
