OMG
That is beautiful. I love pink. I ordered a mm but it has not bloomed yet. I just can't wait. You must have the magic touch. How long did it take it to bloom? Mine is in a pot.

I got it as a large rooted cutting back in May. I have spoiled it since I got it lol! This was its first real flush.

Just beautiful Caren!

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

YW, but you earned every bit of that cutting Caren, lol! I am so glad that she is putting on a show for you....the cutting was taken above the Y so thats why you were able to get blooms so fast. Your pampering really shows, great job!

It is so hot here that I had to move the momma out of the sun, but she has held on to all of her buds so far - however many of my other brugs are dropping theirs. Here is the momma in flush right now......

Stunning!!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

So nice to see your flush on MM and what a lovely color. I had a nice flush coming on a large MM, but all but 4 buds have fallen off. :( I did see small ones forming so maybe I'll still get to see a full flush my first brug. growing season.

MM's a beautiful brug. Here's a pic from last year of mine. Shows how dark she is capable of getting (this was the last day of the blooms).

Individual flower. You can probably see in the prior pic, she also set's pods pretty easily for me. And when it's not blistering hot, she gives good pollen, too. All in all, a very nice brug.

Oh Carter I thought I had it good lol! Thats a sight!! It has been so hot here mine has a chance to color up then the next day there toast! 2 days and that was it. With heat and humidity the index has been 105+ I cant wait till fall!

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Wow Carter that is really pretty. I really like the chenill plant in the back ground, do you happen to have any seed of it? Don't know what you might want for trade but I am sure I could find something if your intrested.

Dee

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Very pretty, Carter. I lost mine last year along with many others.

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

Sure, Dee. I don't have seed, but I have a ton of the plant. It's a ground cover in this particular bed and to control it, I have to completely rip it out evey other year (there's enough I miss, even after digging around for roots, that by the end of the season, the bed's almost full again). It doesn't seem to reseed, though, so that's a blessing.

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

Sorry to hear the Ada! MM is very pretty and definitely worth growing.
