I posted this first in Frugal Living, and gardenwife suggested it could be useful here:
The venerable Betty Crocker catalog will soon be history. For many years now, a wide variety of high quality kitchen tools and dining table items have been offered, with two price levels - one at retail and the another substantially less with those coupons on General Mils products. Now the catalog is closing down with a final issue recently released. Probable cutoff date is December 5th. Prices and "points" are substantially reduced on a somewhat limited but still impressive group of items like Nordic Ware bundt pans in imaginative shapes (castles, sunflowers, rose blossoms and such), kitchen shears, stock pots and specialty tools of many kinds. Fiesta ware. Oneida stainless flatware - some patterns are partially sold out, but there are two patterns in complete sets - one service for eight, the other twelve, with lined storage chests - for $30 each. If you know anyone who has any of the "points" on hand but doesn't have this final catalog, the # to call is 1-800-432-4959. Yuska
