Hi Barb,
I have the Crossvine as well (not for trade) and cannot believe you
haven't had a dozen people jumping on this one. Perhaps they are sending
you messages via private D-Mail.
It is often a vine in high demand, as I'm sure you are experiencing.
:-)

wuvie, i think this is the wrong time of year as i haven't had a lot of replies. these were all soil layered and then dug up and potted this spring. i am really looking for vines alesha. thanks. barb
It's interesting how a common plant in one area is desirable where it isn't native (or perhaps common). This vine grows rampant here all over the fencelines out the countryside. It's forming big long seedpods now that are easily harvested if anyone wants seed I'll collect some on my next bicycle ride.
Dave.
i know dave. absolute weeds but if you never get to see one it is a thing of beauty. and i really like crossvine as it can live in texas all by itself.
On second thought, those seedpods are well protected by poison ivy! Between the "ivy," the bignonia, wild grapes, and honeysuckle, it's a wonder you can see the fences at all!
Here are some seedpods I collected today on my bike ride. The vines are still flowering and I'm fairly sure the green pods are not yet ready. The pods are about six inches long and there will be enough of them for every man, women, and child on DG.
If anybody wants seed I'll be happy to collect some more when the pods are ripe.
Dave.
and i still have vines. barb
i wish i had something to trade but this year my garden is not doing so well. no flowers so hummers are fighting over feeders. i would love one but i dont have anything to trade so will add to wish list.
Barb, I would love a start of this, what can I tempt you with?
