My daughter and I want to start a butterfly garden next spring and we are looking for good host seeds for the caterpillars. I have milkweed seeds coming, but would also like some dill, sage, parsley, or anything else that is a good host seed, or even butterfly attractors (I have one small butterfly bush, navajo salvia, and well, I think that's about it). Any kind of seeds for caterpillar hosts would be great.
Currently I have:
Purple Foxglove
Yellow Snapdragon
Venice Mallow Hibiscus
Yellow Tropical Hibiscus
Yellow and Purple Pansy
I will have later on:
Datura -- Lilac Le Fleur
Datura -- Double Purple (hopefully)
Morning Glory -- Grandpa Ott
Thanks much!

CLOSED: Wanted: Host plants for Butterflies - have seeds to trade
I have Silky Red Milweed Seed. It's a tropical, so won't survive the winter, but the Monarchs sure do like it.
I have orange butterfly weed seeds and maybe some dill.

Do you know that some buterflys love corn pollen ? Regards Paul
