Crazy Hybrid Attempted

As many of you know I try to breed aroids and other tropical and hardy tropical plants. This year was no different in fact it maybe one of my better years. I am already showing results form this years breeding. Here is a list of some new flowers I have pollinated. This list shows what I have attempted. So it does not mean these hybrids are yet growing but that their is a chance they are!

Alocasias

One of the oddest attempts this year is Colocasia pink china X alocasia macrorrhiza


I have also been attempting some hardy banana hybrids and ensete hybrids as well and ensete pollen on bananas.

Below is a new hybrid not yet released. Large growing alocasia with white veins.

Also found a dark leaf form of Canna Musafolia today looks very interesting.

Both are beauts, but that ghostly splotch on pic2 is mesmerizing.
