I have this Episcia in its own little easter egg terrarium....it is so very pretty and I am sure these ones need more humidity so it has its own terrarium.

Episcia Ember Lace I just bought off of ebay in Ontario
I just bought my first Episcia "Coco", and it's a scary thing. They look so delicate and I've read so much about how hard they are to grow, keeping 'em warm and giving enough light. So far we're getting along OK. The plant is a large one in a hanging basket with lots of stolons. With any success I should have some to share in the Spring.
Oh I would love to see a photo of yours...sounds beautiful!
Joanne
Yes, please Susan! Your Episcia Ember Lace is a beauty, Joanne. What a kewl little terrarium. Ü

Ember Lace is a beautiful variegated episcia but very unstable.. Sometimes it will send out solid green stolons. Be sure to remove those. Keep rooting new stolons that are variegated to keep your variety going as it can revert very easily. Oh, and another wonderful thing about this variety is it's pink blossoms!
Lovely, Joanne!
Hi Snowrose,
Oh I didn't know that! Thanks for the info, appreciate it!
Joanne
That is so pretty. I have just begun to realize how easy and rewarding ep. are to grow!
Thanks April,
I just hope I can do it some justice and keep it nice and healthy.

I gave up on Episcias long ago....but love to view others' photos!
That one's a beauty......and I agree the terrarium is pretty special....where did you ever find one like that?
Hi Nan,
Well I picked up one at a yard sale, my friend game me one and I bought two at Easter with candy or chocolates in them...I can't remember which. As soon as I seen them I had a special use for them.
I got the cutest container at the thrift store this morning...will take a photo of it...I am sure Susan will love it. It is very similar to my little green froggy.
Thanks Nan,
Joanne
