Boysenberry Streptocarpella

This is my first bloom since I got it in April when I went to the African Violet Show in Calgary.

I have a new Step, Crystal Beauty that is in bud. Can't wait to see it's blossoms. Will post a photo when it happens.

Thank you and I love that little frog planter. I bought it at the Salvation Army for 25 cents. It is so homely it is cute.

LOVE the frog!! Lovely plant, too. If that doesn't make you smile, what will?

I love the frog. The plant is pretty also, can you give us a better shot of it? I like violets that hold their blooms up.

I did take a photo of it but the flower is fading and looks yucky and the color is actually a deep deep purple but it shows up as a lighter purple. I will take another one if I remember when another blossom opens up on it.

Mine is Streptocarpella saxorum 'Blue Angel'...I haven't seen it bloom yet, but if I don't drown it then I'm sure it will eventually.lol

Ya know I just remembered that it was actually my first gessie! I bought it at a Begonia Show in SanAntonio a few years before I ever had AV's...
I just didn't know what it was then.:)
