First Blooms on a New Seedling!!

Plumiedelphia, PA(Zone 7a)

I recieved seeds from a gal in St. Petersburg Fla. (Trish)
The name of the pod parent is Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Pie came from an Australian tree known as Aussie Fruit Salad.
All of her babies (reportedly) smell like a fruit of one kind or another!!
Pretty neat eh?
Well I planted 3 seeds, all 3 took and finnaly I have a lovely bloom to show!! Woo-Hoo!!
Here she is in all her first bloom glory!!!
Madame as yet unnamed Pumpkin pie Seedling!!
The blooms will change no doubt and if she follows suit to 'Inspiration' with changes, shell be spectacular!!
Enjoy and please comment!!

Wow, what a beauty. I hope I am as fortunate with one of my close to a hundred seedlings I have growing at this time. I know I have gone overboard and think I am wasting a lot of time nurturing and caring for them, but then I see something like this and it encourages me to continue.

You most certainly arent wasteing your time
Out of 100 seedlings ill bet you get at least 20 that are stunning.
Good Luck!!
I have manymany seedlings myself
Many are from never released parents.
Im very excited about the possibilities!
You stay excited now hear!!? ;^)

Congrats, Michael! She is lovely! Woo-hoo! She looks to be a big flower too. Have you measured her? What's the fragrance like? The fragrance should develop with the flower, I think.

Edited to fix spelling.

Michael, she is lovely. The curl could be from the heat or lack of water maybe. I'm not sure, but I think this has been speculated to before, or it could be genetic. It's a very pretty flower.

Im sure it isnt a water issue Clare.

Tooo much hope and work to let her be thirsty eh?
