Lacunosa flowers

San Francisco, CA

Nothing exotic, but I really liked these photos of lacunosa in bloom I took outside.

Now if you just could get the fragrance on the picture too :)

Note how in the above photo you can see the reflexed corollas through the front of the flower.

I know, Milan, wouldn't that be great? They have those weird scent disks that make an odor from a cd, maybe someday there will be a writeable one attached to a camera!

Ah, yes, that amazing H.Lacunosa scent - truly beautiful - even my DH likes it!

Do I detect a stray cat hair adorning your (top) flower Mark? I usually have to give my flowers a "kitty-de-furring" before shooting their pictures (so I know the signs!!)

BTW, Gorgeous pictures Mark!! (Same stray hair on this pic too!)

Beautiful pics. Amazing what light in the right places will do.

It is a cat hair. There is at least one cat hair, visible or not, present in every photograph of a Hoya ever taken.

I think you guys are simply so talented...I can never get H. lacunosa to look like anything other than a white blob in a photograph!!!

And...Milan is right...we should be putting all of these up in the Plant Files....

I promise to 'try' to be better, Milan...honest....

Cat hair is the fourth ingredient in plant food!

Beautiful photos Mark!!!
