My red begonias had some black spot, but the spray seemed to help get rid of that, however now the flowers on that plant are developing black edges on their leaves, any idea why?? Thanks, Karen liebran

Humidity may be low or too much fertlizer?
Did you 'spray' while the plant was in bloom or when the flowers were developing?
That may be the cause, too.

Yes, I did spray while the flowers were starting to bloom. I use an anti-fungal multipurpose. BUT I tell you I believe I did find the real reason--the drought. As soon as they got enough water, the newer flowers did not have black edges. And I noted the same thing happened with a couple of the dahlias and when they got caught up with water, it stopped.
