I figured this would be the best place to post some of my extra aroids to ask for more aroids in trade.
Im looking for things that do well In cold ...Ie
Arisaema
Pinellia
Arum
Dracunculus
I am especially looking for as many Arum Italicum and Dracunculus vulgaris as I can get my hands on.
First I have an odd tuber of Amorphophallus longituberosus that didnt grow a leaf last year .. but ended up growing a nice bulbous tuber on top of the old tuber ... Odd .. But this year it is trying to leaf out .. it is just rooting now. it is a healthy firm tuber that needs a good home.

I have starfish cactus, zigzag (hasn't bloomed for me yet), white epiphylium, sum & substance hosta, but you probably have those.... hmmm... I do have some plain ol elephant ears, they can get pretty big... One I haven't potted up, yet.....
Hi Chris --
Let me know if you're still looking for Arum italicum. If you are, chances are I can send you a whole whack. Thanks --
Chris - THGA
Oh wow very nice ! im glad to see ...

Chris
I have the Arum Italicum!! They love winter. I love'em because they stay green all winter when everything else around here is DEAD.....Good choice for those who live in colder climates!!!
Cactus? What kind of cacti, would you be interested in, Chris (hardy or inside types)?? Would be thrilled with some amorphophallus konjac esp. Anything else hardy to 7A?
OMG...I SO didn't even look at the date of this thread....ducking head and running....shessh!

Hey there skilledwithhands; I would love to trade, I would welcome any Arisaema, Amorphophallus Konjac, especially, pinellias ( as I have neither in my garden yet) I have lots of stuff to trade including some arisaemas on my trade list, lots of good stuff. Ask about anything else you may want in specific, I have good contacts with whom I trade regularly in my local area. Let me know Slipperman
Hey Skilled with hands, check out my pride and joy; I am very interested in the aroids you mentioned for trade. I have lots of hardy orchids, I can get almost anything you might want, I have some good nursery contacts and would love to hook you up. The photo is Cypripedium 'Philipp' and I love it. I grow several other species and hybrids. I really want to find some good trading buddies and I give my word everything will be healthy and true to name, if anything turns out to be unsatisfactory let me know and I'll take care of it.
OK, I didn't want to have to break it to you, buuut.....this thread is not only from 2006 but the forum I believe has since become subscriber only and if you check Skilledwithhands' member page you'll see they are not a subscriber.

Wow, just didn't want you hanging on waiting for an answer from someone when it may not come. You might try dmailing the person.
Trust me, I'll avoid any future conversation with you at all costs. It's been lovely.
Hey I'm really sorry that I offended anyone, please accept my apology, seriously this time. I make no excuse, only to say that it was insensitive and rude of me to write those things and I am sorry. Think of me what you will.

Slipperman, that's the biggest load of condescending rubbish I have ever heard.
Wow, slipperman....don't play well with others do ya? I thought it was thoughtful of azreno to let you know that you were probably not going to get a response. I'm guessing you don't have a very active social life?
