Sooooooooooo glad to FINALLY get an ID on this new (to me) bumble bee. This is the first year I've noticed them, and I'm very aware of the bee activity in my garden. I first saw them on the raspberry blossoms and also apple blossoms. Discovered a nest in a blue bird house constructed on our property line. I LOVE seeing bees working dilligently in my garden. I also have several Mason Bee blocks.......they are definitely "busy bees"!!!
