cloud nines question

i just noticed that one of my cloud nine white eggplants is getting some yellow streaks down the side. i noticed also that the big leaf that the ep is attached to is turnng yellow and maybe its staining the fruit wheneveri water it, or maybe its just time to pick it. any help please. thanks

Cloud Nine turns yellow when ripe, That usually means inedible. It is not a big eggplant so you may be waiting too long.

i have the yellow tint on eggplants that are barely 3 inches long. i called my local nursury and they said it sometimes happens to white eggplants. i think i will stick with the regular eggplants next season.
