okay which members of this family will grow in water? i am looking for something to put in a vase as i am looking for a new look. thanks for help : )

i was thinking of the smaller aroids like pothos, philodendrons etc.

I have grown pathos in water as a house plant for several years. It has rooted and is holding its own. Occasionally I have added a lit bit of fertilizer.
My friend grew one in a large glass vase and put a fish (fighting fish) in it. The fish survived for several months. However, eventually the roots became so large that it took over the vase and the fish got caught and died.
