dwarfmites Help I am new here ! Hello
WELCOME to Dave's, Robyn! And welcome to the world of brugs which include lots of mites, sadly! You could very well have mites. They love brugs and we hate them! They can make your life miserable.
The trouble with them is they mutate so easily and get accustomed to each insecticide that comes out so they get harder and harder to kill off. It seems everyone has their favorite solution. I find I prefer Neem Oil as it is not poison. But sometimes they attack with such vengeance, you need stronger control. When you see them, treat fast before they spread all over.
In general, I wash my leaves with each watering to discourage them, but I find it I still get spider mites at least once a season if not more.
Here is a great article on them.

Good luck!
Thank you so much for your reply. I have washed all the leaves and used dish soap and water.i have not used any chemicals yet. The description in the article was right on target !
3 different ways of dealing with them . diatomaceous earth and neem are at Home depot and lowes .
