I had to share a picture of the order I got from Cloud Jungle Epiphytes. I was absolutely blown away. Harry has some nice dischida too. Here is his web site: http://www.cloudjungle.com/eshop/default.asp
Only slightly OT, but, check it out!
Wow, wow & wow that's a nice haul and I agree Harry has some awesome plants!
Blessings,
Awanda
If you go to Harrys' web site, make sure you click on all plants rather than just those listed in stock. He has not updated his stock list and just may have the plant you want. He has a great selection!
Wow Mel you received lots of new babies. I will have to go check out the link, I have never heard of them. What are the little plants in the bottom tray on the left? Thats about all the room I have left !!!
Tammy girl, enjoy the site! The little babies on the left are Tillandsia. The beauty of them is that you can stick them in your plant and give them a nice mist every day or so. They do not even need pots or soils...just air and some mist.
If you see something you like, make sure and ask him Susan. He said he is behind in updating his list.
I've ordered Dischidia from Harry before...usually only cuttings available, but nice ones!
Mel....that's not how they were packed, is it?
Is that Peperomia prostrata on the left?
Hey Nan! Sure, the post man delivered the plants in the flats! And I have a piece of property for sale..... Actually, I am letting them rest for a few days until I find permanent homes for them. I was amazed that they traveled so well in the heat.
Are you speaking of the plant on the fernbark? I think it is a Monstera speices, but, the jury is still out on the correct name.
::LOL::
I figured as much, but you just never know....I thought perhaps you were a 'special' customer!!
Yep...that's the one I meant....looks mighty tiny for a Monstera....and looks a lot like P. prostrata from that distance!
Nice haul, BTW!!
Nan, there are some people who call me special, but, I don't think it is a compliment! LOL!
I checked my records. At one point Harry thought it was Monstera dubia, but, has now determined it is Rhaphidophora cryptantha.
And, thanks!
LOL!
Well....for what it's worth....I think you're special...and that *IS* a compliment!
Thanks for the info...I'll have to check those out!
(Forgive me...but I can't help my curiosity!)
Are the leaves quite small as they appear?
Yes, Sistah Mel, you are "special"...hee...hee:-)
Blessings,
Awanda
Told ya you were special!
Thanks for the photo....it does look like a Rhaphidophora, close-up.....it is *funky-cool*!
Mel my special friend you never fail to crack me up......... ;) I agree with Nan your Rhaphi is funky cool. Junglecloud has lots of awesome plants. Thanks again for the link.
