accent pots and plants

I find the accent planting shown with bonsai to be as fascinating as the trees themselves. I also really like the organic and less formal aspects of the accent pots. For those who use accent plants, what is your favorite style of pot? Are glaze, texture, and pattern more or less important than the shape?
