This plant is about five foot tall, don't know what color the blooms are because it came off property my sister bought and it was after bloom time...but the leaves remind me of sweet pea, but bushier, and is an upright plant, was between two other plants, but the pods of seeds are pitch black and large & fat, the seeds are tiny kidney-shaped seeds...thought someone would know what it was...but i have a bowl of seeds i'll trade for anything or sasbe if you want to try it....D-mail if you can or post & i'll get back to you, gone thursday but should be back on friday, probably 10-15 trades....and i got the seeds reserved from the japanese wisteria-lavender, from a trellis, harvest a few months away but i can put your address down for a fat pack of them & i'll get them to you later....mark my journal miracle page is up so take a read! see ya! mark
CLOSED: seeds in black pods, bush 5' tall, looks like s. pea bush?
Hey, I bet it's baptista australis. That is a member of the pea family with dusky blueish cast to the leaf, and juicy fat pods, but relatively small seeds as to what you might think is in that pod....

Larkie I'd be careful if I was you. Your in a much warmer cilmate and who knows how that will grow where you are. May die, maybe out of control. If it rattle box you don't want to grow that.
