I love it too. I am actually going to plant this one in the ground in a place of honor and see if it makes it over winter. People have huge hibiscus all over here, I always seem to kill them over winter.

Kyle is right, Ross Estey. I posted another picture of my other bush a while back.

kell, overwatering is a problem with hibiscus. Being a tropical, I want to water, water, water like my other tropicals. However, with hibiscus, IME, it's better to be stingy with water, especially in winter. I can't tell how many I've rotted with kindness.

Your shy, simple hibiscus, ain't that shy. I adore it.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3a)

Oh MY! That is lovely, Orange/Pink go so nice together!

Brigham City, UT(Zone 5b)

Kell, do you have so many hibiscus that Voss has to remember them all for you? Also, here in MA my hibiscus go through a major leaf drop when I bring them in in the fall and I ease back on the watering for a while during the coldest months. My sunroom is heated but on the end of the duct and so is cooler than other rooms in the house in the wintertime.

That is not it Martha, it is because I have no mind and Voss feels bad for me. It is so tough being mindless. LOL

I will be so careful with watering this winter!! I promise.

This one is so much darker the first day, then it lightens up a bit.

I am thinking these may be better than roses now. LOL. No spraying needed.

Kell wet and cold is fatal to trop hibiscus.when cold keep them on the dry side.If they wilt usually it is from the cold not being dry. When they warm up they will plump up again. kinda like Ballpark franks!!LOL

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Now we know what Kyle is full of ROTFLOL...Ballpark franks! LOL
