Hope this hump day holds good things for all of you. No time to post much here, need to get ready for the "W" day. Later...

Redding, CA(Zone 8b)

Good Morning all,
Off to the foot doctor this morning so I don't have much time. Seems like it is going to be another 100 or above day. Hot Hot Hot

Susannah your passiflora looks great.

I haven't had any problem with the rabbits eating my MG's yet. Didn't know they liked them, and surprised since the one group is out in the field. They were all volunteers and really shouldn't be there anyway.

Everyone have a great day and try to be cool!

Midway, TX(Zone 8b)

Good Morning! Going to be a beautiful day here although very humid. We will probably get in mid 90's today. Yesterday we didn't even reach 90 deg. and that was nice. The little rain cooled us off for a bit.
Bareroots I didn't know the bunnies liked MGs either until I saw them out there munching on mine. They seem to be fairly 'selective' though. ;) The ate some down to the ground but left some. The ones I have growing close to our front porch are ok. The dogs keep them at bay this close.

Everybody have a good day!

Well, I"m finally up and have done enough chores to feel I "deserve" a sit!! LOL I just emptied the dishwasher, but I feel great about it!!! haha

And now everyone is gone. Oh well....I'll talk to myself!

I have a luncheon today to start my official year of school. I'm a mentor for a new teacher...don't get paid for it...don't really have time for it, but someone has to do it!

Here's a pic of what the darlin (sure!!!) deer did to my HUGE potato vine!! Have I said recently how much I hate it that there are 9 deer trapped in my area??? The mayor tried to relocate them a few years ago and almost went to jail!!!

See y'all later....

You have the vision of what it looked like before... I see it as it is now. that is the biggest difference.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

The deer aren't trapped in my neighborhood. lol We are in the city limits, but there are thousands of acres of pastureland with trees and brush in three directions. I love having space, but we share it with a multitude of wild animals. One of our cats has a fondness for bunny, so we don't have many little ones growing up close. We fenced the back portion of our property (about 3/4 of an acre) and have successfully kept the deer out, but in the front I plant only deer resistant plants, and sometimes those are broken as they prowl through the beds checking for edibles.

Well, I'm headed out to water in the greenhouse, but I'll be back inside in the cool as quickly as possible. It was 101 yesterday and headed there again today.

Enjoy the day!
