I am looking for photos of tropical flowering shurbs, just so I have something to talk about. Maybe I will find some new and interesting plants. Anything but hibiscus please. It is Clerodendrum paniculatum.

Carnation of India or Crepe Jasmine looks like your photo of spiral jasmine. I have a large one in a pot. Flowers have no scent, but look like small gardenias? If it's the same one, the botanical name is: Tabernaemontana coronaria
Mine froze last year, but came back twice as big this summer. If it ever cools down, I'd love to try to propagate a piece. Didn't realize they spiral. Will have to go check mine in the morning! Great pics.
(The fire bush bot. is: Embothrium coccineum...if it's the same one I have here in TX.)
That's it, Carter. I'm coming over and raiding your yard. Pls make sure the Wine Red Iochromas is where I can easily get to it....
lol! Watch out - my house is guarded by torturous Jack Russell! She'll insist you throw the ball till your arm falls off!
Carter,
Nice plants. I have a request? Can you show a little more of the shurbs and it's setting? I am interested in seeing the overall shape of the plant. Some of your plants I know, others I have never seen, the Bauhinia grandidier. I have B. galpinii in my front yard, but I just cut in back, it gets leggy for me, not enough sun I guess, almost like a vine.
Do Croton count as flowering shrubs? They do flower, you just can't tell because the flowers are so small.
I haven't been able to find a good Tibouchina of any of the species to photograph, but I will. This will have to do, until something better comes along. It is T. granulosa and I have had the best luck with this one, here in Florida. It requires the least amount of care of all the species I have tried.
