Last winter, I decided not to remove the bulbs from the soil. So, just stopped watering the area. Left them alone to see what happens. Nothing much. It's blooming as usual. BTW, which species this could be? I know this could be a tough question going by the number of cultivars on list.

Dinu, I live in 5B and I planted some 4 years ago at my BF's on the south side of the house. They have come back every year and I should dig and divide... Not sure, cause you're right there are soo many. I think it's jus a pretty apricot gladioli. I like your pond, too!
