Bute on trailer?

Probably taking Chewie back to the chiropractor tomorrow for an afternoon visit. Seems like the last cracking didn't stick, as he was out about 3 weeks later. It's not a super-smooth drive to and fro, about 3.5 hours travel time... SO I was wondering..

Is it a bad idea to request some anti-inflammatory or some sort of pain-killer to keep muscles moderately relaxed until I can get him back home and out of the trailer? Seems like if my back hurt and I had to drive a long distance I'd want some advil or something in my system before I had to sit for 6 hours straight...
