Here is a picture of one of my plants, looks like something has just sucked the life out of the new leaves. I have several like this some worse than this one they aren't planted close together. What do I need to do?

How hot is it where you are? Some of mine looked like yours when we had the hot, hot weather. The leaves actually got fried in the heat.

If not that, I blame mites. I blame everything bad on brugs on mites. LOL

Good choice Kell. Mine look like that from heat, I took he bad leaves off.

Hi Gloria! I just went out to take a pic of the fried leaves but they have already fallen off on their own. I think I deleted the picture I had taken of them. And I can't find the post now where I had the picture. But I do think you are right!

The temps here are 100-104 and they are in the sun most of the day. Thanks so much I was scared it was something bad,I know that sounds silly to some but I don't want anything to happen to them.

Every new ailment I get, I think oh what horrible plague do I have now, so I totally understand! But actually it would not be such a trauma anymore if something were to happen at this point for I am trying to refocus on the inside of my house for a change and not the the plants. I am finally growing up. LOL

Yardbird,

Have you gone over the front and back of each leaf with a high powered magnifying glass to insure you don't have insects?

If not, may suggest you do so. Because it has been so hot and dry in our area, insects that are normally in the woods, fields or on crops have found their way into our gardens, because our gardens are the only areas that are lucious.

Judy I don't have a HP'ed magnifying glass but they are fried. I thought they were burned but wanted to get other's opinions. I most likely put too much ferlitlizer on some of them.

Thanks so much everyone

My brugs get full sun all the time and no sunburn. I could understand sunburn if a plant was not used to direct sun.
I don't think it is sun damage either. The symptoms of heat stress of any kind just is not evident. Yellowing leaves would be the first sign of heat stress.
Your symptoms do look more like a chemical reaction to something whether it be in the soil or something sprayed on the leaves.
