Moth Cat?

I saw this one on a milkweed last night. I thought at first it might be a Milkweed Tussock Moth, but on looking at pics of that one, it doesn't look that close to it. Then I remembered that caterpillars can wander off away from their host plants onto other plants And BTW, I DO know not to touch this one. Anybody know it?
