FREEBIE!!

I found this laying in the bottom of a cart at wal mart. Dont know WHAT it is, but there was about six inches of a top offa SOMETHING, lol. I think I got the gardening sickness!! :) It apparently broke off of a plant that someone bought.

Skidivur, haven't you been warned about taking unidentified stuff from stores? Now look what you've gone and done! You've got an unidentified plant that's going to make us all a-twitter waiting to see what happens! Any new growth?

No re: new growth, but it appeals to still be alive. When I got it, it was all wilted and limp. The center is standing up now, so I remain hopeful.

No magic, just peeled off the leaves and stuck it in the dirt, lol

Looks like maybe Oriental Poppy. It's perennial so pop it in the ground for next year.

Yes, I thought 'poppy', too.
