An unplanned experiment in sun/shade outcomes

Powder Springs, GA(Zone 7b)

I just discovered this a few minutes ago. I had this begonia hidden by a much larger begonia leaf so part of it was in full sun for a few hours and part of it was in heavy shade for the last 4 weeks.

That's interesting. which one is that?

I think Lali, that half the plant was in some sun and some in the shade. Here it would be dead. We do not have enough humidity. I have to bag my leaves.

One day later and some water this morning. This was taken a few minutes ago in full sun (2:20 PM). I think the watering had a lot to do with the color yesterday. Hard to believe.

I don't know which one this is Laurie. Right now, it's quite ugly.

So far the deer haven't bothered my begonias but they love hostas and my sunflowers. Here is Bambi the teenager earlier this week. It's sibling was a little more hesitant..
