We had a terrible storm last night, a lot of my buds got broken off and this is what it did to my Charles Grimaldi X A'Lamour and it was just getting good buds one ready to open and some tiney ones
BIG STORM
oh no, we had that storm rip thru here, it left several of my pots laying down when we returned, and I sure do feel for you, can you root it?
Oh no!!! I was wondering if you were "blasted" by storms last night.
I'm sorry. It seems that if it's not one thing, it's another. At least you can root the broken tree.
Unfortunately, I did not see any rain, but it is cooler, finally!
Oh, Doris.... so sorry. It is sad to baby and pamper and then have that happen. You can root the poor thing. So sorry. We had a storm night before last and I had a friend help me lay mine down before hand. I lost a few leaves. He sat them back upright the next morning... what we do to care for these buggers. The wind was whipping around they just layed there, the leaves were their only defense. At least we received a little rain. Supposed to heat back up next week. Ah! Summer!
Doris
put the tree in a 5 gal bcket of water it will root again, no need to cut .....
Doris, I am so sorry that this happened to you. I know how discouraging it is when you have babies and nurtured only to be set back. This has been a very discouraging year for me too. The brugs. aren't growing as well as normal and I have been plagued by insects and especially cats. atll summer. Oh well, we can look forward to hopefully a better summer next summer.
Please tell me that this wasn't your "Brittney"!!! We are supposed to have storms tonight. Will be moving your babies next to the house for protection...I hope.
Doris, I so sorry your brugs didn't fair well in the storm.
Patricia, fall will soon be here and maybe we will all see some great blooms.
Ruth
