Have a great day Lin, and enjoy every minute with the little one. Don't forget to take pictures they make great memories live again and again!
I need to run the dogs out and feed the Koi...then it is Friday at work with a full day! But it is Friday....that makes it tollerable!

Good morning, everyone! Joy did pretty well yesterday. The dental hygenist did my teeth first so Joy could watch. She gave Joy a pair of gloves and a toothbrush, which Joy thought was pretty fun. When I was done, though, Joy started shaking and crying and saying, "I don't want to sit on the big chair!" So we did it with her sitting on my lap on the hygenist's chair. LOL It took a little while before Joy would let her actually brush, but she did eventually. :-) All in all, it went quite well and I think it will be easier for Joy next time.

Have a wonderful time with your granddaughter, Lin! Happy Friday, everyone!

Good morning from Georgetown, TX. A beautiful day here, but promising to be hot, hot, hot again.

Have a great, safe weekend, everyone!

Hi all...up early (for me) ...7:30, and worked in the yard until 10. Mowed my little patch of lawn and weeded, etc. I'm having a party for 40 people on Sat, so had to do last-min. things.

Now I've done my menu and I'm off to the Central Market for cheeses and giant Tiger Prawns and flowers.... and then good ole HEB for the rest since it's cheaper!!!

I have to pick up DH at the airport at 9 tonight and he wants to eat out that late!! So I just researched restaurants that stay open late...found one Italian (Carmelo's) one French (Chez Nous) and one Columbian (Dona Emelia). He can take his pick...I made reservations at all 3.

It's wondeful to have all the "alone time" with a DH who works out of state and flies in Fri and leaves Monday at 2, but I have to do everything!!!...the weekends are his "down time" and he needs to relax. That's okay...I like it that way!!

See y'all on Monday, probably, as my DD and DBFOD (boy friend of daughter!! ) are coming in for the weekend.
I"ll post the coffees tonight before I leave...hope it won't be too confusing!!

Here is Brutus, the one-year-old tabby we just adopted last Saturday. He's an assertive but affectionate and smart boy!

Dancy...we would love to see a pic of her....would you mind posting one?

Marylyn...so good to hear the cleaning went moderately well!!! :) It's just so heart-breaking when the little ones are so frightened that they shake!!

Sheila...what type of work do you do? I know you have about 3 more years to go until the big R...yes?? :)

I will Dmail you exactly where, etc. My job is Accounts Payables for our 85 acre facility, but this week and next, I am doing part of the A/R too! So I am in front of a computer most of the day and bug my DH that I still sit here when I am home. LOL!! I actually have 1.82 years to go until retirement, not that I am counting my days (422 working days), or anything. LOL!
