... can anyone tell me what squash this is? A neighbor gave me 3, but she didn't grow them. Is it a hard squash like acorn, or a tender summer squash??

Okay, this is not the ID forum, but...
My first thought was unripe acorn squash but maybe the scallops aren't deep enough. If it is a hard squash that isn't ripe you could eat it now anyway. That's nice your neighbors giving garden gifts (even unknown ones:) to their new neighbor! I'll get down there one day.
