I'm a first timer with baby pouItry. I have 30 9-day old guineas. I also just hatched one chicken (yes, one little chick). The chick is 3 days old and is very valuable to me. It's lonely and I'm wondering if I could put a guinea or two in with it for company. There are a couple of guineas about the same size as the chick, (they are smaller than the other guineas). Also, I am worried about transfering disease from the guineas to the chick. Do they get the same diseases? I was told not, is that correct?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Can I put baby guineas with my chick?
I've never had a problem with raising my guineas with my chicks .....except mine are usually hatched at the same time as each other
My guineas and chicken are together also. They do not seem to bother each other.
Thanks for the replies, Crestedchik and Marie! I think I'm going to try and put the smallest guinea in with my little chick today and see how they get along-my chick is so bored, it just stands in front of the mirror I put in it's box all the time :-0
