The Chosen Few

Key West, FL(Zone 11)

Well the shutters are almost all up and I've a flight booked to get out of the Keys as TS Chris approaches. Well actually I was going up anyway but as we wont be here for the storm ( hopefully it remains a TS) i wanted to make sure the house was secure. im more worried about my garden, I just got it sorted from last year, so annoying *&^%$#. Oh the joy of living on a peacfull tropical island out in the middle of the ocean hundreds of miles from anywhere connected by all those little bridges .LOL

These are the chosen few of my potted plants that get to come inside ,the others i've moved to shelter..... I hope. The ones in the ground will have to take care of themselves.

All you Gulf Coast people start getting ready. I wish you luck.

Wise move to get out but the latest forecast shows it weakening. Let's hope they are right.
I'm sure your plants will be fine; after what they went through last year this will be a BREEZE (pun fully intended).

I was just telling someone on the plumeria forum how I have to do the run around dance picking up my plants in containers every time a storm is approaching our area. It really is a pain but better safe than sorry........

Hopefully this storm will continue to weaken and all in the path can relax a bit.

Wel it looks like were gettiing away lightly, but it was a good trial run. Now to try and save some of the rain....

i feel your pain. it is hard having to choose, as if you love some more than the others. tell those zone-envy people it's not always sunny!
