It is planted in the wrong place and is spreading. It's coming through a stacked, brick wall. It's growing into other areas of the garden. To control it will require tearing up part of the garden every year. To me it's not worth it.
If you want some you are welcome to as much as you can dig up. I don't know the variety. The new canes are reddish and then turn green as they age. The oldest are about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
If I can't get rid of it by giving it away, I'll have to hire someone to remove it. One way or another it has to go.
