Just look what they are doing in this 99 degree heat. This is Dr. Suess
Winning me back
Also milk & Honey
I am glad. That is the thing about brugs, they have such a survival instinct. Now that I had 90 degree + weather here, I do not know how any of you deal with growing anything in it. My hat is off to all of you!
In early fall Doris, you will get lots more blooms I suspect to suck you in to save them over winter!
What happen to Milk & Honey??
Oh, Doris. Aren't they GRAND? I think we should tell them all it's their last growing season, then they would ALL set buds. lol We're having triple digit weather and my poor Maya doesn't even get a chance to turn color.... The plant looks good so I'm hoping for cooler weather (low 90's would be nice) and at least another flush before her long winter nap.
sorry 2pugdogs, I labeled the first one wrong it should be Milk and Honey NOT Dr Suess.
AuntB I was all set to let all of them go, it is so hot, and they take soooo much water, but then I see these buds and I melt. LOL
It's been so hot here that my brugs have gone on vacation. I expect they will be back when the nights get back into the 70's. My canna however are going nuts.
X
So glad they are doing well. My brugs are looking kinda puny but I know they will snap back in the fall so I am content to clean up other parts of the yard and just keep them going until the temps get a bit cooler.
