Hey, maybe those of you living on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, or those of you from there, originally can help here. Our church is sponsoring a mission trip to Pearlington to help with construction, late next week. DH and I, and another couple (also "older" ;-)), are taking travel trailers and staying at a campground in Bay St. Louis. (I just realized that the two right parentheses look like a double chin. Well that's appropriate...). Anyway, the four of us are hosting a cookout for the whole group one of the nights we're there, and would like something with a "local flavor" to serve them. Something like a stew or a one-pot dish, or some yummy dessert would be great. There will be about 15 people. I have a bunch of New Orleans recipes, but we're not gonna' be in New Orleans, and I love to check out the local food wherever we go. I'm asking now, so I'll know what cooking apparatus to take along in the trailer. Thanks!
