I was delighted to find this little beauty growing near a creekbed,...near home.
Found it on Lady Bird's list of native plants - Passiflora lutea (Yellow Passion Flower) It rose up thru a mass of vegetation and was displaying about 5 ft. off the ground on a Soapberry tree limb. I'm pleased to say there are about 6-8 fruits ....soon to ripen. Hopefully,...I'll have some growing next year!

That is really neat, if you have extra seed would you mind sharing some with me?
Josephine.
Josephine, I'd be delighted to! In fact,...the DW & I are planning on coming to the San Antonio Plant Swap (I'm figuring out what I'll be able to bring for trading...in order to post them on the thread)...so I will save you seed or maybe have plants going by then...either way! (Or I can send the seeds sooner if you'd prefer!)
Here's a picture of the leaf & green fruits. Lee
That is just adorable, thank you very much, if you caome to the swap I can get the seeds then, looking forward to meeting you.
Josephine.
