LOL, they got lost in those healthy looking perennials. I am sure they'll survive. ;)

Ha! I can still see at least one! Great pics Sandy and I hope my frog will "get lost" like that as my plants mature. Now go and rescue them before they get swallowed up!

Here's the frog that followed me home from the cottage last week and actually he might've been part of that frog band of yours but decided to go solo to further his career.

Hah! Those are all so cute. Froggie went a courtin and he did go uh huh..............

White Lake, ON(Zone 4b)

Hey, it's ole' blue eyes! Yes, he's a crooner, that one. Glad to see he's going places.

I used to have a whole marching band, but eventually they all get lured by the big cities ;-) Ole' blue eyes ended up in Toronto, I see, and there was one viola playing member that headed East towards Ottawa and often wonder whether she made it or not.

Those pictures are priceless, Sandy, and your plants look like a magazine spread - every leaf perfect!

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Mine plays a viola. Sandy, don't you have anything better to do than sit over the computer? I've already been out to aquafit and back and downtown (by bus) to be head usher at a chamber music concert.

Anyway, here is my VIOLA playing froggie. Might get him a friend next year so they can play duets.

OMGosh there's my missing band member! Glad to see she's done well in the big city. You don't make her go to Aquafit do you, Ann? (Uggh). LOL

Sandy

Oh, If any of you nice folks discover one of my original band members in your neck of the woods, would you let me know? Thanks!

Orangeville, ON(Zone 4b)

Well no wonder the band is on the run because you're making them hide in all that lush, healthy foliage. They want to see what's going on in the world......they want the sun on their little faces.......free those froggies!!!!!!

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

I should mentione that I know of two more that play the viola in Arnprior, but don't have a picture.

Ann

White Lake, ON(Zone 4b)

OK, Ann, thanks for the report. Arnprior's only a few miles from me so they didn't venture too far!

Another has appeared here. My older froggie seems to have tears of joy as his new friend joins him to play viola duets together.

I can't think of a more appropriate home for those two Ann! ;)

Ann, now you have a band, you'll have to set about naming it! My trio is called Three Frog Night.

Sandy

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

LOL..I'll bet people get a grin on their face when they see them.

White Lake, ON(Zone 4b)

Resurrected this thread. Now it's October... and the band can finally see again!

Heard them playing "Let The Sunshine In" this morning. I don't think we've had a lick of sun since Thanksgiving!

Lack of sunshine is getting depressing isn't it? Neighbours said we had some on Saturday, but I went to North Bay for the weekend to augment the viola section of the North Bay Symphony. My band members are probably moldering out in the garden.

Hi Ann, Haven't we had a cold and dreary fall this year with all the rain too? Whine, whine. We need some sunshine and then I'll get all my garden doo-dads put away in the shed. You too, ey? No moldering allowed. lol

Sandy

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Cold and dreary. And I took a tumble on Thanksgiving, Was collecting Lavatera seeds and forgot that I had stepped over a small fence that was keeping an unruly plant out of the path of the lawnmower. Tried to step backwards out of the garden w/o stepping OVER that little fence and landed on my tailbone and head on the lawn. Gave myself a pretty good whiplash, and the butt has been sore since. It's improving, but with the cold damp, I've not stepped foot into the garden to do anything worthwhile. Instead, I've been painting the dining room http://davesgarden.com/place/t/656493/ Finished the walls yesterday and am about to do the baseboards - maybe tomorrow, maybe later this evening.

I think this might be the conductor hiding in my shrubbery.

He sure came along way - maybe your bands instruments need some tuning?

Ann, don't forget to post a pic of your finished painting project!

Carol, yes, I think I do recognize him. So he went all the way to Calgary, did he? While he was with me, he worked as a drum major in the marching band, but now I see he's gone to pot. (lol)

Sandy

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

I will post the pic when done. Have yet to do the baseboards. I DID take some pics today, but with the wall unit in the middle of the room, it's hard to see. It will stay there until I get the baseboards done and I'm using an alkaid paint.

Sandy there are a few DR pics on the coffee thread now.

Very nice, Ann!

You guys are so funny and the frogs are so cute. Now if I were going to kiss a frog :) I would pick one of these, they are adorable.
Who knew there were so many band members.
