Are wasp attracted to bamboo? I have an extremely large population in my back yard. They are all over the bamboo. I have never seen so many. I get them every summer, but I've never seen so many in one place at one time-it's unnerving!!

How do you mean they're a mixed blessing? My DH got stung by a swarm of these suckers a few weeks ago and ended up on prednisone. They went up his shirt and stuff, stung him repeatedly in the same place. He was in unbelievable pain and then kept awake by itching for days. What do they do that's positive?
