Allison's Bingo Box Arrived!!!! Woo Hoo!

Don doing the happy dance here! Allison and I were getting pretty worried it wouldn't make it! But it's here Allison...thank you so much

Considering these babies came from one end of the continent to the other (kitty corner) it is amazing they made it alive at all. Took 13 days, and many, many prayers, but they arrived in great shape. No doubt the result of Allisons' fabulous wrapping and packing. Ü There were of course some broken leaves which is to be expected, but only two casualties, Allison, Irish Flirt and Purple Passion leaves were mush. But considering all the rest that survived that's pretty darn good. Little Dibley's Cynthia took a bit of a beating, but when the nasty leaves were removed, behold there were two little flowerets winking at me.

I worked feverously to set the leaves first thing, and everyone looks well and so so happy to see sunlight. I will set the leaves on my "maternity" windowsill that gets just the right diluted sun exposure and I bet in 2-3 months I'll have lots of happy babies.

Hopefully your box arrived too, Joanne. I still have my fingers crossed for you. Post when you can to let us know.

Joanne got a box before during Holiday and still took 6 days . Now she is still awaiting a very important box.
A chance we take shipping out of the country,
But I like it better when they take 3-5 days.

Oh I am so happy for you!!! Yes Allison does a superb job of packing, I have yet to find any one who packs any better....she is definitely a pro!

I have Irish Flirt that is just popping babies....oh I will take a picture of her...she barely has emerged with those little ears popping up and you should see the flower buds! Oh she is just the cutest little thing.

I don't think I have Purple Passion though Don or I would send you a couple leaves of that one too...I will look but I don't think so.

Mine will be here this week probably tomorrow!!!! At least it has been cooler here the last few days and all this week is supposed to be under 30 degrees celsius, so that will definitley help.

Joanne your Irish Flirt baby is so cute ! Did I send you those leaves ? I sent so many leaves out my plant is a bald suckering baby now lol not sure if it will make it . So I hope there will be some babies out there for everyone to share and enjoy !
I hope all the babies grow big and strong and bloom crazy and you get lots of babies from your leaves Don !

I think 3-5 business days means "to the nearest large Urban city", which in my case would be Vancouver, from there to Kelowna, then the parcel would be rerouted to smaller centers, like mine. No matter, it arrived and that's all that counts. Ü

God only knows where your box is Joanne as it was shipped the same day your last one went out that you got last week :(( I sure hope they did not keep it at the border.
Some people have got fined. I will be really sad if it does not make it to you. :))
Once two years ago I shipped two boxes to someone one box got there and a month and half later I got the box with pot and dirt back stamped all over could not go over border.
A few years ago the first box I sent to Cnada and it took three and half weeks one plant was alive Jolie Concerto she still has. After that I've sent here dozens of boxes all arriving great.
But going out of the Country you nexver know it's always a chance. Even Vendors with high price Cert phyto and most end shipping cost 35. -50.00 on top of that and they still don't gauretee them. I thought with the Phyto Cert they would make it over the border on time ?

I know I can't believe it is taking this long....a week later than the first box....like I said...it must be taking the scenic route....I am hoping it will be here this week....only two more days and then we have a long weekend....so we won't get mail until next Tuesday!

Oh well not much a person can do but wait it out and see.

Hope you all get some cooler weather soon...been a terribly hot summer here too.

My boxes arrived today! It was just like Christmas!! Allison included more than I asked for. Most arrived in very good shape. All are now in their very own covered container and I can't wait to see what they look like.
