Horsie has been somehow knocking baby mockingbirds out of the nest without hurting them...I found him, just a minute ago nose to bird with the baby acting like they were friends....I took the bird and placed it where the parents can feed it...they are around, and they are mad! (understandably) and Horsie is shut up inside the house...do mockingbirds spend part of their time on the ground, like blue jays do? The baby is almost fully feathered..maybe Horsie just found it on the ground?
