Boy that is a eye catcher. I love the coloring of it. It looks like you may have gotten 2 of them. Or is that something else in the pot to the right of it?

Yep,bought 2,you know the ole sayin 2 plants are better than one!!!LOL
I thought they reminded me of the nancy colocasia,I think thats the one I'm thinking about!
I don't have one yet,but it's on my wish list.

I actully think it is prettier then a Nancyanna if that is the one you are talking about. I got one this year and it's not as pretty as your Dieffenbachia.

Yes,thats the one,I think as yours get older it show more markings,if it does, please let me know.
Thanks

Nancyana seems to only produce the white marking when they get fairly large here. In a more aquatic and hot situation it seems to happen faster. Not exactly why it takes so long to get the cool markings here?

I have had a couple of the leaves have some markings, but the leaves have died off now. We don't need any more hot situations here yesterday it got up to 107* and I think I watered it 3 times. It would probably do better if I did have it in the ground. I just got it this year, so will wait to plant it in the ground next spring. When I first got it I did put it in the ground but it didn't like where I had it, to much sun I think. So I dug it up and put it in a pot and set it in a place where it only gets 1/2 day sun, and since doing so it has been doing much better.

Brian do you have yours in direct sun? Yours do look wonderful. My marking is on that big leaf, just a little at the very top. Can't wait for mine to start looking like yours. Wow and double Wow.

Yes tropicman I will let you know how it does next year on the markings. Only hope it will survive in the GH this winter.

How amazing and similar the markings are on both plants.
If these are both in the aroid family,I'm wondering if they might have had one of the same parents,to have such similar markings???
