Has any one hired a Landscape Designer? Was it worth the money? Has any one used software that they would recommend? I would like to do most, if not all the work myself. I know an overall plan is a must for me. I want to have a plan I can follow, over a period of five - six years. Money being my major road block, I don't want to start a bed here and plant a tree there, to later change my mind or it not have the complete, or finished look I would like to have. I've played around with BHG, Plan A Garden, and it is nice for a free service. I'm at the fork in the road, pay a designer for their plans or come up with something on my own.
